Choicer Voicer?
The Choicer Voicer is a voice impression and dubbing game built around listening, performing timed lines, reviewing your takes, and turning them into a finished voice challenge. This browser edition runs on modern desktop and mobile browsers — no install, no signup, and no fee to start.
Start with a ready-made Dub Pack when you want to record immediately. Each pack includes a reference clip, the prepared dialogue, line-by-line timing, and a live waveform comparison. Focus on the performance — the studio does the rest.
If you have your own eligible MP4, sign in to use the Upload Video flow. We'll prepare it for recording and let you define the lines you want to dub. AI line-splitting is on the roadmap; for v1 you set the lines yourself.
Score every take, save your best lines to the public Rankings, and host private Multiplayer rooms where up to five friends record on their own schedule. Every take is private to the room.

help.
Choicer Voicer recording depends on microphone permission, the selected input, system privacy controls, and browser media support. A working level meter in another app doesn't guarantee that the intended microphone is selected here.
The browser never asked for permission
Press Record before expecting a permission request — browsers wait for a direct action. If nothing appears, check whether microphone access is blocked for this site in your browser settings.
Permission is allowed, but the game hears nothing
Confirm the input, volume, mute switch, and browser-selected microphone. Disconnect unused headsets or virtual devices, reload the page, and try a short line again.
Live input works, but recorded playback is silent
Try a standard mono or stereo input, close apps that exclusively control the microphone, and make a new recording. Headphones can also prevent speaker audio from feeding back into the microphone.
The game is blank or stuck
Check your connection, refresh Choicer Voicer once, and try a different Dub Pack. If the problem continues, send the affected page and browser details through the Contact page.
Mobile controls feel cramped
Try landscape orientation and close the browser keyboard when it is not needed. If recording or video creation remains unreliable on that device, continue on a desktop browser.

Is Choicer Voicer free to play?
Yes. The browser studio, every Dub Pack, and the live waveform comparison are free with no account required. Sign in only if you want to save your scores, host a Multiplayer room, or upload your own video.
What can I dub with Choicer Voicer?
Choose any Dub Pack from the library — movie scenes, TV moments, original recordings, party rounds, Russian-dub drills. Sign in and use the Upload Video flow to dub your own eligible MP4 (up to 1 minute, 95 MB).
Do I need an account to play?
No account is required to play a quick take. A modern browser and microphone permission are the only requirements. Sign in for Rankings, Multiplayer, and Upload Video.
Why does the game ask for microphone access?
Microphone access is requested only after you press Record. Declining the request means recording is disabled, but you can still watch reference clips and read the lines.
What is the Multiplayer room flow?
The host creates a private room, picks a Dub Pack, and gets four personal invite links. Each friend joins on their own time, records their assigned lines during the 72-hour room, and the host reviews all takes and finalizes one shared video.
How are my scores calculated?
Your take is resampled to 220 waveform bars and cross-correlated against the reference envelope with a ±15-bar lag search. The 0–100 score weights envelope shape (55%), duration match (25%), and voice activity (20%).
How long are recordings kept?
Browser takes stay on your device until you sign in and submit a score. Signed-in score history is kept indefinitely in the public Rankings. Uploaded videos are kept for up to 30 days, and Multiplayer rooms expire after 72 hours.
Does Choicer Voicer work on mobile?
Modern mobile browsers (Safari 16+, Chrome 110+) work, but microphone reliability varies. Use landscape, close the browser keyboard, and continue on a desktop if your phone can't complete a take.
